The couple are Brad and Jeannine Musgrave, and their son is Conner. The parents sat Conner down and gave him a half hour detailed description of the event, the four hijackings, the collapse of the Twin Towers, and the tragic deaths of the 3,000 innocent people. They did not want to beat around the bush, they wanted o tell Conner like it is and be completely honest with their son, they wanted him to know that there are cruel, evil people in this world who will do whatever it takes to get what they want. They will kill anyone, and they even got personal, and they told their two year old that those people will kill even them, if they got the chance. The couple wanted their son to hear it sooner than later, and also to hear it from them rather than at preschool from his teachers as part of a learning experience. Child development experts say that, because Conner is only two and his long term memory pathways are still forming, the Musgrave's are going to repeat this tragic event to their son at least once a week, for the next four years.
